Are you perhaps using image-related shortcodes on the page?
Hi Edward,
I’ve just checked by turning the plugin off and yes they are wrapped within a shortcode such as below:
[vc_single_image image=”985″ border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self”][/vc_column]
Is there a way around this?
Jason
Thanks Edward.
I’ve just been reading up on this myself and i’ve just purchased it as I will be using something else in the future to do with ACF.
Forgot to mention earlier but this is an absolute god send of a plugin when working with Multisites, keep up the good work.
Jason
As long as people are happy with the plugin I have no choice but to keep up the work. 🙂
Just trying out the free version on multisite and opened a existing page while logged in as superdmin and in the “broadcast to” section in the box in the admin menu I see only the sites I created as a superadmin. I don’t see my sub-sites that were created by other users.
Do I need the Pro version for this?
I am using the new blog template plugin from wpmudev and all my sites will have the same pages & menu.
I think I saw in the docs that I can update menus also, right? So if I wanted to add a new page at some point in the future and add that to all sites and a link in the nav menu for all sites that would be possible? If so, def worth the $100 🙂
thanks!!
No. Your user can only broadcast to the blogs the user is a member of. Solution: add your superadmin as an admin (or whatever) to each site you wish to broadcast to.
The pack has a plugin to give superadmin access to all sites, whether a member or not, but it’s a convenience plugin. The same can be achieved manually but it’s… not as convenient. 🙂
Your second question about menus sounds doable, as long as the menu exists on the child blogs and is set up to a specific theme position. Else you’ll create a menu that isn’t displayed in the theme anywhere.
