That would have been a good thing to ask _before_ I released 3.2. 🙂
I’ll try to have this implemented in the next release. You will have to have thumbnails enabled and your files will have to look like this:
_thumb_vid_myvideo.jpg
myvideo.flv
and be in the same directory.

Is that method work with png file also?
Yes, it will work with either jpg or png. If both jpg and png are available, it will give priority to png (in case you want transparency or something).

And by the way, those “thumbnail” images are both 1920×1080 pixels. The scaling and cropping is also pure CSS, for video thumbnails. Your video thumbs can be any size, as long as they are AT LEAST 60x40PX.

I was giving you a preview of how it will work in the next release. Video thumbnails don’t exist for you yet.
But video thumbnails will work with either permanent or transient mode selected.
As am I. 🙂 I’m waiting on a user to test some changes I made to the fallback encryption method to make sure I’ve got all the bugs out. Then I’ll release. Hopefully today sometime. (It’s 5:30AM here.)
