    Okay, one deleted plugin.

    In the widget-settings you can use the “output-pattern”-field.
    I use the following :
    ‘%date% %title%‘
    and it displays the link without thumbnail.

    Many Thanks. I used this to get it to work for me:

    %date%: <a href="%link%"><b>%title%</b></a><br>
