    Hello.

    WordPress 5.6.2
    Robin image optimizer 1.5.0

    Looks like, I’ve found a bug. πŸ™‚

    Sometimes plugin doesn’t optimize images in case of busy server. Log has this messages:

    ...[error] Failed to get content of URL: http://api.resmush.it/ws.php as wp_remote_request() returned error (cURL error 28: Resolving timed out after 10000 milliseconds).
    ...[error] Error to optimize attachment (ID: #1795). Message: "cURL error 28: Resolving timed out after 10000 milliseconds"

    This is, of course, not a bug, this is payment for free using. πŸ™‚

    If this error has a place when plugin works with main image, this image and all his thumbnails marked as not-optimized and could be optimized, if job is started again. This is ok. BUT, if this error has a place when plugin works with one of thumbnail, main mediafile marked us optimized and it is impossible to optimize problematic thumbnail (without dancing with DB πŸ™‚ ). This is bug, as I think.

    P.S.: Backup folder has name “wio_backup”, but everywhere else we have “wrio”. Misprint?

    BTW, after optimization I have a lot of cases, where thumbnail is bigger than main image.

    For example
    image1.jpg – 1000×667 – 39149 bytes;
    image1-800×534.jpg – 800×534 – 48819 bytes.

    I’ve made a few compression tests at local PC with originals of this images. Always smaller image has smaller size in bytes after compression.

    Can you explain this strange situation?
