Also it may be helpful to know that the videos in which the thumbnails don’t display are hosted on Vimeo.
I think this is specifically a Vimeo problem. Sometimes previews on there just show up as bars.

Sorry for the late reply. I see that the plugin has a later version, but I’m unable to update it. Currently on version 10.0.0 I’m able to install the latest version as a separate plugin, but I believe I would have to move everything to the new version. Was just wondering if there was a fix for this or not.
