Thumbnail images

    I don’t set a ‘Featured Image’ on my pages. I just use the image block to add images. Is there a workaround to enable the first image on the page to be shown as the thumbnail in Display Post Types? I use the Twenty Seventeen theme and WordPress version 6.7.2. Many thanks.
