Thumbnail size

I see this question has already been asked, but I was also wondering if there was a way of making the thumbnails smaller that the standard size they are currently presented at (thumbnail, medium, large or full size)?

Smaller contact sheet-sized images would be more useful for professional agencies who can scan through hundreds of images very quickly.
