Hi, I’ve already tried to fix the problem by adding retina support and cleaning the cache, but thumbnails still remain very blurry on mobile phones, which is a pity because they are already almost as big as the related full-size images.

The same happens on my other website, only that here the first 4 images and the 6th one are not blurry at all, while the others seem to have the same problem: https://www.robertacortese.com/stage-and-set-photos/

    Hope you can help, bests

    Hi @satyrika

Kindly follow this guide here which does have some tips on how to improve the thumbnail quality: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/troubleshooting-foogallery/improving-thumbnail-quality/

You can even force the original thumbs as an option too if necessary: https://prnt.sc/CvvxVvEdskhv

    Thank you Elvis,

forcing the original thumbs seems to be the better option at the moment, even if the thumbnails aren’t perfect yet. What I find a bit strange is that, depending on the row height you set, either vertical or horizontal thumbnails are a bit blurry, but there’s no way to get them all sharp. You can see it here.

    Hi @satyrika

I’m glad to know that that particular option worked for you. Clearing the thumbnail cache and adding higher-quality images should also lead to the improvement of the thumbnail quality.

Another option that is worth a try is changing the thumbnail generation engine used in FooGallery -> Settings -> Images -> Thumbnail Engine

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.
