Thumbnails crop

I am using the mobile version of the theme Newspaper. I m also using Contextual related posts. If I use the masonry style, the thumbnails are cropped only from the center, which makes some of them like they cut the head of the person in the picture. Like here: https://imgur.com/a/qzSXMGY

Is there a setting or something I can do so the crop begins from the top of the picture? I m using the 80×60 size and I want to keep using it, so setting a bigger size to the thumb will not help.
