Do you know where External Featured Image saves the image URL? If this is in a meta key, you can enter this in the Settings page of my plugin and it should be able to fetch that URL from there.
Another option is to enter the image you want to use for the thumbnail in the Metabox of the plugin when composing/editing posts.
I’ll check out the option to enter the thumbnail in the metabox, thanks, haven’t check that out yet.

What’s the link to the plugin you use to manage the featured thumbnail?

Can you enter this in the options page -> Post thumbnail meta field to see if it works automatically?
fifu_image_url
This should, in theory, directly give you the URL of the post.
Ok, I’ve just replaced the text that was there with this new one, and now the images come through perfectly.
Thank you!
Actually, one more question, although I’m not sure whether maybe I should ask it separately. It works beautifully, but when I select the no-style option and add my own values (it’s a list of related books, so I can’t have a formatted 150×150 pixels output), I get the list of related posts in rows rather than all in one column. Is it possible to have the same output format as when I select the Rounded thumbnails option?
Edit – nevermind about this issue, I created a custom size in Genesis, and when I selected it, the list comes in one row with x nummber of columns. So all good! Thank you.
