Thumbnails from featured image plugins

As of right now the only tweak is to install featured image from url plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/featured-image-from-url/ and find out the url of the nelio thumbnail and paste that link in the url on the page/post edit page. My plugin works with the above plugin.

I installed the nelio plugin and used their featured image area without using external featured images or the default wordpress featured image area and the thumbnails do show. If you are using custom post types don’t forget to add the argument post_type=’custom_post_type’ or whatever the actual name of the post type is and thumbnail=’true’. If you have more than one post type use post_type=’post,page,custom_post_type1,custom_post_type2′ etc… Just separate post types with a comma.

You can see the url created in the thumbnail is from the Nelio plugin:

The image is just transparent because it’s a placeholder image when using an external url. Not the actual image it uses some sort of redirect as you can see on the media library edit page.
