Thumbnails from posts not appearing

    Hi I am having a problem with thumbnails. I am using 3.1.1 and the Bombax theme.

    I have the Featured image set within a post (using a URL rather than uploading) and the image appears in the post, but the thumbnail does not appear in the blog extract in the home or category pages.

    What am I doing wrong?
