Thumbnails in RSS without excerpt field

    Is there a way to get thumbnails into an RSS feed without pasting the code into the excerpt field? Ideally, I’d like some php tag to output only the <img src… link. It doesn’t have to be automated: I can paste the appropriate code somewhere…. just don’t know how to go about this. Help?
