Thumbnails not showing up same size

I’m using the plugin within the tabs shortcode of my theme. I have the thumbs set to 230×230 max width/height in the document gallery shortcode. However, the thumbs are all over the board on my page.
The five tabs are
Meeting Minutes – Ok proper size 178px x 230px
Treasurer’s Reports – Ok proper size 178px x 230px
Run Related Docs – 178px × 230px (scaled to 58px × 74px)
Business Documents – 2ok 1 89px × 89px (scaled to 176px × 176px)
How To… – 178px × 230px (scaled to 117px × 151px)

Can you please navigate to Document Gallery Settings (Dashboard -> Settings -> Document Gallery), go to the Advanced tab, and enable logging. Once that’s done, go to the Thumbnail Management tab and delete all thumbnails. Finally, go to the gallery page (which will force regeneration of the thumbnails).
Once this is done, we may get some clues from the generators — back in the Document Gallery Settings, copy and paste any non-detail log entries. Additionally, if you could copy the options information from the textbox on the Advanced tab that would be helpful.

Anyway, I did what you suggested above.
The thumbs are still the same size as before I deleted them.
There are no non-detail log entries. All are detail

Looking at the thumbnails referenced in the content from the advanced tab, your thumbnails look to be the correct size — specifically, I looked at the How to add… documents and both are 230px tall.
Am I missing something?

The actual thumbnails for the documents that appear mis-sized all appear to be the correct size (eg: http://www.sd4wheel.com/wp-content/uploads/Run-Signup-Waiver-thumb.png). This means that there is something weird going on in your CSS. Since it is not consistent across the galleries, it is likely related to something weird that your theme is doing.

I’m willing to take a quick look to see if I can spot what the theme is doing, but I can’t access your gallery as it’s password protected. If you want to create a temporary login for me and email it to me then I can possibly give more information.

I don’t see anything in the CSS but when I disable the code in my browse developer tools

I just took a closer look and it looks like your theme is misbehaving. If you look at the div parent of the Document Gallery output,
content .tab-pane, it’s not filling its parent. Since Document Gallery is designed to fill the size of its parent, this causes the small icons you are seeing.Try this workaround:
