    Hello,
it seems that default thumbnail size is used for listing the relative posts. Could you consider an option to grab another already created size ? – like medium or a size created by the theme. My theme has a basic related function and I wish to test your plugin but with the presentation managed by the theme. So I have to use the size used by the theme.

Don’t want to add an option because I want to keep the settings screen and auto-loaded options as small as possible.

The thumbnail size is already filterable at the moment with the filter: ‘rp4wp_thumbnail_size’.

More on this and a code example on how to do this can be found here.

OK. If I use sizes already used by another generated thumbnail, I suppose there will be two thumbnails created ?

No. Related Posts for WordPress doesn’t register a thumbnail size, it uses the WP default one. With the filter mentioned above you can make it use a different already generated one.

Ps. Sorry for not responding sooner, I didn’t get an email about your reply 🙁
