Just recently all mosaic galleries on my website have stopped displaying random image thumbnails in each gallery – there is no logic to this and if you flush the cache different images vanish each time….
Ive tried switching themes, deactivating plugins etc with no joy. It always appears to be images that are loading via i0.wp.com – if I disable the tiled mosaic /carousel module then ALL images appear as they should albeit they look rubbish as small boxes……
Anyone else seen this?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
I uninstalled Jetpack and reinstalled it. Every time I turn on Site Accelerator the issue starts again. Once it has started I have to uninstall and reinstall Jetpack. It is definitely that. I have currently got Site Accelerator turned off and my images are fine. As soon as it turned it on the images start having i0.wp.com, i1.wp.com, i2.wp.com or i3.wp.com (can’t remember which one) at the start of the URL for and the images will not display.
I have done exactly the same Mutdog – its definitely Jetpack causing the problem. Even If I disable Site Accelerator the missing images are still there are they are coming from i0.wp.com or similar – I am NOT going through an entire website to reinsert every image to point locally…. if there is a way to force out the links to i0.wp.com etc. or force local image loading it would be the answer I am sure!
You will see various thumbnails missing although if you click on them the image will load into the carousel and you can see it ok. But the problem is the broken thumbnail.
It actually looks good to me, and I can’t see a clear difference between missing and available thumbnails.
Try this: open an Incognito window, if you have any ad blockers, try disabling them, clear the site’s cache completely, and force your browser to reload the page with all of its resources.
Conversely, I could be looking at a cached version, and maybe you’re not. I’ve had situations with Litespeed that required some serious clearing to get rid of, so check that every possible image-related.
Also, in some cases, the Site Accelerator (i0.wp.com) image storage doesn’t get updated when images are changed. If you’ve changed some of the images in those galleries after they’ve been upload to the CDN, try using fresh images to see if this helps.
