You can change the format to something more appropriate for your customers’ region. Go to Bookings > Settings in the WordPress admin panel to modify the Time Format setting.
For 24-hour format, you’d probably want something like “H:i”.

Ive done that but the time still shows in 20:00 instead of 8pm
any idea what I’m doing wrong?

The setting only modifies the time format for the timepicker in the booking form. The time that is displayed in emails and in the backend is based on your general WordPress settings. You can change the time format in the general Settings page in your WordPress admin area.
