So we see time displayed on invoice but not on packing slip. Is was a recent update that deleted the snippet code. Can you provide?

Do you mean the order time? And if so in what time format would you like to display that? Hours: minutes : seconds?

Time of day ordered. This is already on invoice but not packing slips. So 5:35pm or 5:35am

Yes, order time.
Hours: Minutes
Hours: Minutes: Seconds
Would be best 12hr am/pm format

It’s strange that the invoice shows the time but the packing slip doesn’t, but you can add that snippet back and it should work for both documents;

To prevent such a snippet from being overwritten by theme updates, you can either create child theme or (easier) use the plugin Code Snippets.
