    WordPress 6.9

    Import Eventbrite Events version 1.7.9

    The Events Calendar version 6.15.12.2

    I am having a problem with Time Zone. My time zone is Pacific Standard Time (PST) America/Los Angeles. When importing, the time zone, the field iee_event_timezone_name is being set incorrectly to Africa/Azerbaijan. While the field iee_event_timezone is set correctly to America/Los_Angeles.

    iee_event_timezone = America/Los_Angeles

    iee_event_timezone_name = Africa/Azerbaijan

    Also, on the edit page for an import to TEC, the ‘Date & Time’ section also shows Time Zone as Africa/Azerbaijan.

    WordPress setting for time zone is: Los Angeles

    The Events Calendar Setting for ‘Time Zone Mode’ is: Use the site-wide time zone everywhere

    Can you help me fix this?

    Thank you for your support!

    Hello @d37k0 ,

    Thank you for reachint out to us,

    We’ve created a Git Gist that contains customized code which you can copy and paste into the plugin’s
    class-import-eventbrite-events-tec.php file. This will ensure events are imported with the correct timezone.

    Git Gist: https://gist.github.com/support-xylusthemes/de881e7d51f552d2c0eca195e466d796

    File Name: class-import-eventbrite-events-tec.php
    File Path: plugins/import-eventbrite-events/includes/class-import-eventbrite-events-tec.php

    Once this is done, you’ll need to update the existing events.
    After updating the events, the timezone changes will be applied correctly.

    Thank you for the fix. I have run test imports and the iee_event_timezone_name and Time & Date Section are correct.

    Will this fix be in the next update?

    Thank you for your support
