    For this timeline design the date should be above the horizontal line and the text (post text) should be below, no other fields.
    Can I do this using a template file that the plugin can use?

    This type of Timeline design is available in our plugin’s pro version, but not available in Free version.
    We recommend you our Cool Timeline Pro plugin, this will meet your requirement. Please check Cool Timeline Pro Demos.
