Timeout after 60 seconds

    Hi all,

    I have exactly the same issue as described here:

    except that….. deactivating SMTP plugin, doesn’t solve it.

    In a few words: placing an order results, after 60 seconds, in timeout and then an error…. The order is received (with/without email according to the plugin status), BUT…. user receive an error (fake) in response to the “place the order” button pressed.

    Is there anything I may check?

    I’m self-hosting the site… so it could also be an infrastructure issue with my unix installation…. so please, let’s make some step-by-step strategy to findout what this could come from….

    Hi @pcrespi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I understand you’re facing issues with the order placement time on your store and disabling the SMTP plugin does not solve the issue for you.

    As your site is self-hosted, I’d like to have a better understanding of your site environment, therefore, please share with us your System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

    Hello pcrespi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    Could you check if disabling WP Rocket and WP SMTP plugins makes a difference, as caching and email plugins sometimes interfere with the checkout process.

    Additionally, please share a screenshot of your WooCommerce Page Setup to ensure that the checkout and related pages are configured correctly.

    Do you know when did this issue start?
    This clue could point us in the right direction.

    Once I have more details, I can better diagnose the issue.
