Timeout issue when editing a post with non-EN

    Hi Support team,

    One of our website is having timeout issue when editing a non-EN post with Divi page builder during the last a few months.

    The error message on the page is “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled untile your are reconnected”.

    In server log, the only message is “PHP Fatal error:  Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in…”

    We tried the below ways to debug:

    1. increase the max_execution_time – Increased to 1200 does’t solve the issue
    2. Enable Divi safe mode by deactivating all the plugins, except Divi theme. Timeout issue disappears. – so as per Divi developer said, the issue is not due to their theme…
    3. Deactivate other plugins – Yoast seo, Autoptimize, GDPR etc. – The issue is still there.

    With the exact same content, EN page has no timeout issue but non-EN page has, when there are more and more content added. So I suspect probably something wrong with Polyang.

    Any idea how to debug the issue with Polylang? We couldn’t just disable it as it will break the frontend site.
