I am trying to optimize a large number of images, but I am getting timeouts on every single one. It’s the same if it’s bulk or through the library. On the bulk page it gives the “Internal Error Gateway Timeout” message. It does actually compress the images, but the bulk optimization stops. The timeout seems to happen after about 30-35 sec after starting the compression. This is the error message from cpanel:

Timeout waiting for output from CGI script /home/username/public_html/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php, referer: https://www.website.com/wp-admin/upload.php?page=tiny-bulk-optimization

I had the host increase the php max execution time to 120 seconds and that did not fix the problem. I had it working on a different host. Are there any other options I can ask my host to adjust so that this doesn’t happen? Any other ideas of how to fix it? Thanks!

    Hi there!

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing problem with the plugin.

The same issue was answered a few weeks back. You can see the thread here:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/error-during-bulk-opt/

If you are still dealing with this problem, it would be great if you could send us a screenshot of the list view of your media library as well. It would also be interesting to know the dimensions and file sizes of the images that you are trying to compress. You can send this information to [email protected]

We hope to hear from you soon!
