timer resets

    Hello
    The timer resets after a few hours.
    if you visit the page after a few minutes it looks like it is working fine but if you visit after a few hours it starts from scratch.
    Any idea on how to fix it?

    UPDATE. I changed tracking from cookie to ip and i get the same problem. After a few hours the timer resets
