I just downloaded this theme for my wordpress and, after installing, the post editor doesn’t work.

I uploaded a photo of what the editor looks like: http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/3289/editorj.jpg.

All of the buttons are blank and when I click on the “edit image” button after I mouse over the photo it opens up the pop-up window but it is blank. The theme is perfect for what I need to do so I would like to keep it if that is possible. Would downgrading my wordpress version fix my problem? Thanks for your help.

If you switch back to the Default theme, do the editor buttons come back?

That’s a good call. No they don’t. I have no plugins installed in this wordpress either and I have another copy of wordpress working perfectly. The only things different about this install and my other one is this new theme and the fact that it’s located on a sub-domain.

Could this be the cause of my problem? I would try it but I’m on my phone right now

Yes! That worked. I downloaded a new copy of wordpress and I copied the contents of “wp-includes\js” and replaced that folder in my install. It seems like filezilla didn’t copy them over properly the first time.

Great! I was just about to suggest that. Be careful when overwriting files as some FTP clients seem to have trouble with that. It’s always best to delete then upload rather than simply overwrite.
