My actual version is WordPress 2.6.1.

I apologize if this is simple and I’m just a jeezer, but I’ve tried and tried to resolve this myself. I especially get worried that I’m overlooking something simple when no one else has encountered this in the 118 comments on the plugin’s website nor the 25 posts here in the forums.

I’m not exactly a noob, but I’m no expert, either.

I unzipped the TinyMCEComments zip file to my /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Actually, I wasn’t sure whether to put it in the top level of that folder or in its own directory (most installed plugins I have are in their own directory), so I did both. I uninstalled the files both to /wp-content/plugins/ and to /wp-content/plugins/tinymcecomments.

I then went to my control panel and wanted to activate the plugin but it wasn’t in the list. I can’t seem to figure out why?

For the record, the files I have in both of those locations are:
    – readme.txt
    – screenshot-1.png
    – screenshot-2.png
    – tinyMCEComments.php

Can you suggest what’s up? I’ve installed and activated several plugins and have never experienced this.

    Thanks

Never mind. I’m a bonehead. I had multiple installatiomns of WordPress and wasn’t uploading to the correct set of directories. Sheesh!
