I wish I could add an external link to the uploads. it’s possible?

If not, how about implementing this?
Many users host large files elsewhere to save bandwidth.

Offering this option will help a lot and bring more users who use this feature in other plugins.

One note if you plan to implement it, do not forget to also add the download count to the external links: D
