Thanks for reaching out. It sounds accurate. The tip is saved in the customer session and not in the cart.
Have you tried clicking the Remove tip button on the cart or checkout page? It should remove the tip.
I tried testing on the orderprimetime.com website, but I don’t think the plugin is active? Do you currently have a staging site I could run a few tests on?

The plugin is active but it only shows if delivery is chosen. The issue is that because it only shows for delivery, if someone adds a tip but then changes the shipping to overnight then they don’t have the option to remove the tip. I was hoping you might have a solution but the more I think I about this I think I will tell my client that nothing is wrong with the plugin. The only option I see would be to have the tip removed automatically if shipping is changed but then customers would get upset when they accidently switched shipping and lost the tip.

Ah, gotcha, that’s actually an interesting edge case.
If you could share more about the plugins that you’re using to conditionally display the tip form, depending on the shipping method, I’d be happy to look into it. It’s something I never thought of when initially designing the plugin.
Do you have a staging site I could take a look at?
