How to make Toggled navigation

    Hi,
    could someone please tell me how can I easily make toggled navigation in wordpress? I have studied basic wordpress themes (twenty twelve, twenty thirteen..) and how to make toggled navigation in static page, but I have not figured out how toggled navigation works in WP.
    I use my own twenty thirteen childtheme.
