Token expiration not working?

I’ve been using this plugin for an external app and it’s been great, but one thing’s been bothering me. I set the expiry period of the tokens to 60 min, and in the app I’m validating the token whenever I can. However, regardless of how long it’s been, the validate endpoint always returns success = true, so I never know if I should refresh the token or not. Am I missing something?
