The format of even the most simplistic spreadsheet is not replicated by the shortcode.
That is by design.
Like display a spreadsheet how it looks in Google. You are better off making a jpg of the sheet and embedding it on your page/post than wrestling with this plugin.
Since this plugin’s one and only goal is and has always been to display your Google Sheets data in the way determined by your site, if you are trying to do the inverse (make your data look like Google), then I agree.
I’ll also direct the attention of future readers of this “review” to the fact that @mpbaweb asked twice, in two different forum posts, one of the same questions that have been asked and answered on this forum for literally years (“how do I remove the green plus buttons added to very wide tables to make the formatting responsive to visitor screen sizes automatically”):
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/last-column-being-cutoff/
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/remove-little-green-plus-symbols/
Note also that the answer is provided in the links. Apparently, for @mpbaweb, getting the answer to their question via a link is “unfathomable.” Many others, however, seem to have no trouble. A mystery for the ages, certainly.
And this reply perfectly illustrates why I have given it a 1 star review.

Meanwhile, you still have a Google Sheet’s data to display and presumably a project to complete. Good luck with that. I wonder if there’s some well-documented plugin that you can use for free that many other people use to do exactly that. If they can figure it out, surely you can, right? On second thought, this might be too hard for you. What a shame.
