I have backups set to weekly, but UpdraftPlus is backing up the site every day, which is totally unnecessary. Why? I’m getting way too many emails.

Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

@terrytek Can you please try to Wipe settings from UpdraftPlus > Advanced tools > Wipe settings, Click wipe settings button.

Go back to UpdraftPlus > Settings and configure Dropbox settings, re-run the backup process and check if backups are processed once.
