Too many bugs

    I liked the formatting, and choices this plugin provided. That is why I chose it over others.

    But random numbering issues throughout my site (i.e. footnotes in text listing numbers like [1] [2] [25] [3] [26] [4] [5] etc..) and no response regarding request for support, started to make things not look so good.

    It got worse after spending hours trying to work out a fix, and solving some, but then realising there was no systematic or consistent reason for the random numbering – sometimes I had to take italics out; others links; others, nothing worked…

    In the end ‘resolved’ issues by changing to another plugin.

    I went with ‘Simple Footnotes’ – thankfully had used [ref] [/ref] so no need for rewriting code for footnotes. And although not as many ‘bells and whistles’, it is simple, and no errors. 🙂

    Still did like how this one looked…

    Thanks for responding. I am sticking with this one for now, I’ve used it a long time. But I do not heavily footnote, and have had no issue. A backup though is always prudent.
