Can you try the following:
- Temporarily disable any cache plugins & clear the cache
- Reinstall the Meta pixel for WordPress plugin
- Re-connect the site to your page.
If the issue persists, please share the following:
- Your site info, located under Site Health, using Pastebin
- An example of where you noticed that too many events are being logged (any screenshots you could share would be helpful as well)

Can you please check if this is normal or if there’s something wrong? The server events appear to be 2–3 times higher than the browser events.

Seeing more CAPI events than Pixel events is completely normal, as long as the overall count is what you are expecting it to be.

Hello,
If you can check the screenshot, it shows that the server events are about 2–3 times higher than the browser events (though following the same trend). We suspect that there might be duplicated events.
The ads team also mentioned that the purchase events are higher compared to the actual purchases.

Hi @imrenzramos ,
Like I mentioned it’s expected to see a higher number of CAPI events, compared to browser events. The events are complimentary to each other, and in some cases they will be captured by CAPI, and other times they will be captured by the Pixel.
Does your site use WooCommerce? If so, please share your System Status Report.
