    This plugin looks interesting. I’ve tested the demo. But I can’t find any functions to modify the toolbar, too.
    Is this not possible?

    The free version doesn’t have that feature. The Pro version has an optional Toolbar Editor add-on that can modify the toolbar. See this page for details:
