Tooltip "bubble" on iOS

This is just to report that, on an iPhone4 as well as iPad2 (both with last iOS version) the tooltip “bubble”, follows you when scrolling down the page.

Here you can check a bigger capture (from iPad). You’ll see that the bubble has scrolled down as well, and it appears always the most top of the page (that’s not well said, sorry).

Any idea on that?

Hello Nick, yes I’m still seeing it.

I’ve got my WordPress version 4.1. and the plugin version is 2.1.7 (both the latest). Hope that helps.

I see it too, and on iOS can neither scroll to the bottom of the tooltip (though the rest of the page scrolls), nor make the tooltip disappear (to browse another day’s events) once tapped.

I just discovered the tooltip doesn’t scroll on desktop (Mac) Chrome or Safari, but it does scroll on Firefox.

Using latest versions of everything.

I can change from one bubble tooltip to another (in case there’s something below on the calendar), but not make it disappear.

Also, the bubble follows as I scroll down, but if I scroll up it stops (not disappears) where it started: I mean on top of that day, if going down it follows me, but if I scroll up (in case you have space enough to do so on your design: for example if you are using the calendar in the footer or in the middle of a page) it doesn’t follow further than the calendar itself.

Does it have any sense for you?

Latest versions of everything (iOS too).
No problem on desktop OS X (neither with Firefox): it only appears on hover, so when you scroll down it disappears fine.

On desktop I can change from one tooltip to another. My scrolling problem may come from too many events per day. I should have included the url: http://jimsrootsandblues.com

We found a possible issue here and in the next update should be fixed. I will check back in after the update comes out to see if it is still a problem.

Hello Nick,

The latest update woks fine on my iPad and iPhone: the tooltip doesn’t follow anymore. Thanks for that.

Anyway there’s a new issue: I start a new thread for that
