    Does it help if you enable the “Always Enqueue Scripts & Styles” option in the general settings of the plugin?

    @nick asking me? (Yes I’ve that checkbox on)
    Do you have time to check the URL in my previous post?

    @flips01,

    Looks like some JS errors are popping up. Did you also try this on a default theme like Twenty Fifteen?

    (@flips01)

    Yes, as you can see in backlog it works with default theme, but stopped working with other themes after 2.2.x …

    Ok just wanted to make sure. I saw you said you tried with a new theme so just wanted to make sure it was one of the default ones.

    So there are some JS errors that probably need to get cleaned up also. I also noticed that your site is running an older version of jQuery (1.11.2) and the popups we use (qTip) needs version 1.6+. Try finding and updating the jQuery to see if that helps.

    I guess the JQuery Updater plugin didn’t do trick, then …
    (Also I thought 1.11.x was higher than 1.6+ …)
    Anyways, I might switch theme again …

    I’m having the same issue over at my website

    It’s a theme issue as tooltips works with the twentyfifteen theme. wp_footer is enabled in my theme [Church and Event by Vamtam] and I tried jquery updated to no avail.

    EDIT:Oh and the enqueue option is unchecked, but it also doesn’t work with it checked!

    Any thoughts and/or updates?

    @olabusayo,

    I took a look and there is a JavaScript error in your console coming from somewhere. Try getting that resolved to see if it will help with the issue.

    @flips01,

    I still see some JS errors on your site as well. Looks like from the isotope JS file that is being used in the theme.

    @nickyoung87 Thanks! That helped the theme developer fix the problem 🙂

    Awesome glad to hear that!

    Any luck for you @olabusayo?

    (@olabusayo)

    Not yet @nickyoung87, I’ve reached out to the theme developer about the particular file causing the error so I’m hopeful they can fix it but nothing yet.

    Cool sounds good, just keep me updated on how it goes and if you need additional help.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    I’ve started this thread some time ago and I’m still having issues with the plugin. As I said before, this is what’s happening:
    _____________________

    – When the ‘Alwas Enqueue Scripts’ is turned is ‘off’, the Google Calendar Widget in my footer works fine, but not when I also have a Google Calendar displayed via shortcode in my body area as well;
    – The Google Calendar displayed via shortcode does not show tooltips at all;
    – When I disable the Google Calendar Widget in my footer and check to see if this makes any difference to the Google Calendar displayed via shortcode in my body area, this doesn’t seem to affect it’s behaviour.
    – When I delete the shortcode on the page that is displaying my Google Calendar in the body area, the Google Calendar widget on that specific page in the footer starts working again.

    I reverted to a default theme and that does not seem to produce the same issue, but that doesn’t change the fact that the plugin did work before on my custom theme and that it actually still works, but only not when it is being displayed twice on a page.
    _____________________

    All of the other suggestions does not change anything:
    – WP_footer() is enabled in the footer.php;
    – JQuery updater plugin doesn’t show any emprovement;

    Can somebody please have another look at this? The website is here and the specific calendarpage is this

    A quick follow up on my previous post. I got it working now, with a workaround:

    The widget seems to be working fine in my footer, it’s the shortcode in the content area of my page that’s causing issues. So I installed the ‘Widgets on pages’ plugin, which allows you to put widgets inside the content area of your page through a shortcode – [widgets_on_pages] -. In the Widgets area, it adds a new widget location where I can implement the Google Calendar Events widget.

    Sorry you had an issue. I am glad you found a workaround for now, but I am still curious what went wrong. If you want to setup a separate page with a calendar that is broken so I can take a look I will be happy to.

    Thanks!
