Total Upkeep – backup not triggered

Hello,
Backup are no longer triggered since February (for what I could see in the log).
Manual backup are working.
I’ve tried several setting WP Cron / Cron ; Auto Backup Before Update / Site Check => with no success.
Also restart the server.
Preflight Check : PASS
All is up-to-date and was updated regularly since the issue and before, with no change.
Server Type: Apache/2.4.52 (Ubuntu)

To help us troubleshoot this further, could you check the logs for any errors and share what you find here? You can find them by going to Total Upkeep → Tools → Logs. Look for files named something like
archive-[date].logAlso, can you confirm whether the backups are starting and then stopping, or if they never start at all? For example, when you run a manual backup, does it begin and then fail, or complete successfully? In addition to the archive logs, please check the
jobs-queue.login the same Logs section to see whether scheduled jobs are being added to the queue at all.Lastly, please double-check that your backup storage is set up correctly. You can do this by going to Total Upkeep → Settings → Backup Storage, and ensuring:
- The Web Server option is enabled
- There’s enough available storage space on the server to complete a backup
Once we have more info from the logs, we’ll be able to move forward with next steps.

If a scheduled backup cron fails, an error message will be logged to the cron notices log file. You can view those log entries below:

Lastly, please double-check that your backup storage is set up correctly. You can do this by going to Total Upkeep → Settings → Backup Storage, and ensuring:

Thank you for the logs and it looks like you are getting a fatal error on a plugin called smtp-mail located in the following location of:
/wp-content/plugins/smtp-mailer/
Can you disable your SMTP mailer plugin and try the backup again?

automatic bk with cron or wp cron : no trigger – no change
manual bk : started with errors( [type] => 1 [message] => Uncaught Error: Failed opening required '/var/www/html/wp-includes/class-wp-phpmailer.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/smtp-mailer/main.php:586after the sptm plugin activation, manual bk worked again

sorry for my late reply, I was off, and I didn’t have the same diagnostic as you, so I’ve to do some testing…
The SMTP plugin is not the issue as it works well with all the other plugins.
The issue is that something is stuck in Total Upkeep, so I think to resolve it, you could help me to delete it.On my side I’ve solved the issue by using another backup plugin.
