    Hi,

I tried to totally remove/disable maps.

It seems that the address forces maps fields and i haven’t found a way to disable that.

Did i miss something? Or i should disable address and create an other text field in its place?

    Thanks

  • Hello,

you don’t have to show maps on the frontend – it is possible to edit the template or tabs settings and remove all maps.

In the add listing page though, yes, there is still a map.

ok, how can i remove/overcome that from the add listing page? That is what i need in one site.

    Thanks

you will need the custom post type add-on that allows to make GeoDirectory CPTs without location fields.

Ok, got it. What if i disabled the address and added a text field as a “pseudo” address? Would that work?

Or (if the above is not what i shall do) even i could comment out some code manually? I don’t mind doing that.

    Hi @dimalifragis,

The only way we support is via the addon. There are lots of things it does, it does not only adjust the maps and add listing page it also adjusts DataBase queries and sorting filters.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
