    Hi,

    I’m helping someone with a wordpress page (http://www.rainycamp.org) and I recommended using meteor slides for a slider plug in after some binging for a quick loading slider since the previous one (Slider Revolution) was adding a few seconds of load time to each page on their blog.

    Now the plugin page (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/meteor-slides/) says the plugin supports touch navigation, but I’m not sure what it means exactly. I couldn’t get swipe left/right to navigate between slides and the buttons just keep flickering when I try it on my Windows Phone 8.1 device.

    Is there something I’m missing or does the slider not support swipe/slide/pan/flick-gestures?

    If it doesn’t – what would be the best way to make the navigation buttons stay visible?

    Hi Filip, sorry for the delayed response. I should be more specificin the description, it has touch navigation, but this is powered by jQuery Touchwipe, which supports Android and iOS devices. Support for other devices is hit or miss depending on the browser you are using.

    The touch navigation works just like clicking previous or next arrows for the slideshow, it isn’t “drag” navigation that animates the slides beyond the standard transition.

    In addition to the touch navigation you can enable prev/next and/or paged navigation in the slideshow options.
