I created a custom conversion by following a video tutorial on the pyxelyoursite site.
I set up a conversion with the Signal event on FB and selected event_action: form (value copied from the pixel helper)
The problem is that the event is triggered when the user clicks on the submit button of the form even if there is an error in the form. The event sent is not considered but it is sufficient to click on the button to trigger the conversion.

    Can you please clarify:

    1. Do you have an error with the form because of our plugin?

    2. Do you mean that the conversion is fired even if the form is not actually submitted?

If the #2 is correct, unfortunately there is no workaround.

I tried in the FB events test section and the event is triggered even if I click on the send button but I don’t fill in the form fields. In the pixel helper of chrome I have not seen a different event if the form is submitted, always with event_action: form
    I use the free plugin.

Yes, the event is triggered by clicks on the form’s button, and will fire even if the form is rejected.

Unfortunately there is no solution for this, but it should not have a major impact for most websites.
