Track contact
-
Hello
Thank you for your plugin, very usefull.
However we want to track users who contact us using our contact form (using fluent form)
I created a custom event (trigger Click on element) with a specific css target but i don’t know if i need to add extra parameters
Based on facebook documentation, the event code is fbq(‘track’, ‘Contact’);
Do i need to add this specific event on our facebook account?

Hi Neoseeyou,
Thanks for your message.
No further parameters are needed. Pixel Cat will add the other parameters.
Also, you don’t need to add that event to your Facebook account. Once Facebook sees that event coming in from your site, Facebook knows how to use it. As long as the correct CSS target was used.
I hope that answers your question. If there is anything else, don’t hesitate to get back to us.
All the best.
Hello
Thank you for your quick answer.
I have another question regarding conversion pixel api.
We have a score of 3.3/10 for page view, view content events and 4.6 for contact, buy, payement events
“Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for PageView Event”
“The external server ID does not match the external pixel ID”Do you think the adanced matching option can have a negative effect for these warnings?
Thanks
Hi Neoseeyou,
Thanks for your reply.
I don’t think those 2 things are related.
You will usually see the “Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for PageView Event” “The external server ID does not match the external pixel ID” error message when a user has some sort of blocking software that causes the browser Pixel not to track the events. In this case, you can still track vents because you are using the Conversion API.
If there is anything else, don’t hesitate to get back to us.
All the best.
Hello
Thanks you 😉
So for you i can keep enable this option in your plugin and in the event manager dashboard?
How can i improve my score then ?
Thanks
Hi Neoseeyou,
Thanks for your message.
Yes you can keep it turned on.

Sorry i come back about the score of Quality of event matching. Actually we have a score of 3.3/10 for most of our events
Fb said that we should “Improve quality with Facebook login ID”
-> “If you have Facebook Login IDs for your customers, sending them with your server event can increase the event match quality by up to 1.4 points”
– Email
– Name
– telephon number
– date of birth
– address
– countryHow can i send these informations thrue your plugin ?
Hi Neoseeyou,
Thanks for your reply.
Those kinds of details should already be getting sent in the advanced matching feature where applicable.
Based on the article you linked to, the Facebook login IDs are only associated with apps, e.g. with iPhones and Android phones – “The ID issued by Facebook when a person first logs into an instance of an app. This is also known as App-Scoped ID.” So this would not be suit for Pixel Cat since it works on a WordPress site and not an app.
If there is anything else, don’t hesitate to get back to us.
All the best.
Thanks so at the end, how can i improve this score? doomed to keep it that way?
Hi Neoseeyou,
Thanks for your message.
There can be a lot of outside factors that decide the score that are probably out of your control. For example, a user using a browser extension which turns off tracking cookies.
I believe the score will be lower for events in which there is only a small amount of associated user information. These are events like PageView which do not have a lot of data attached to it. Whereas an event like Purchase, would have more information about the user since most of the time they will use an email and name to purchase. The Purchase event will nearly always give a higher score than the PageView event.
I am under the impression the easiest way to get more information associated with the events is to have the user log in when they visit your site, since when they log in, the advanced matching tool can then see extra information about the user which would not be seen when a user is not yet logged in.
If there is anything else, don’t hesitate to get back to us.
All the best.
Hi Neoseeyou,
I am going to mark this as “resolved” but if you have any more issues, don’t hesitate to get back to us.

Hello
Well i still have this messages on my fb dashboard (12 times)
“Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for AddPaymentInfo Event”
Hi Neoseeyou,
These messages are normal for when a user visits your site, and they use an ad-blocker to stop the regular Pixel from tracking properly.
When you test the AddPaymentInfo Event yourself in the test events area of Facebook Pixel, is this message appearing?
All the best.
Hello
Thanks for your reply. Did firefox has an inner adblock system? I test on chrome and have this results (i test on our live website so there is surely some datas coming from our visitors too).
Here are the results (sorry in french):
Hi Neoseeyou,
Thanks for sending them screenshots.
Yes, I do believe Firefox does have a default system for stuff like this. “Enhanced Tracking Protection” https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop. You can read what is blocked in the “What Enhanced Tracking Protection blocks” section.
Based off of your screenshots, it does not seem like the “Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters….” issue happened? The events in your screenshot do not seem to have been flagged for this issue ?
