    I would like another explanation for trackbacks. I am trying to understand this in my thick head. Please do not refer me to the wiki links or outside these forums unless the source is incredible, I have already read those.
    main purpose/s?
    step by step for dummies, how to use them?
    Is trackback in version 1.2.1 working properly or does it need to be fixed like the previous post decribes?

    If they do not work on your site (have you tested them?) I cannot tell you why. You’ll just have to try the various “fixes” posted here – these are what others have found to work for them and may or may not work for you.

    The problem with the fixes is that some of us have never had a problem with trackback, so we just don’t know.

    How do I test whether trackbacks work on my site? I don’t want to test it using someones elses blog. I am new to this so have no blog friends that would not mind. can someone help me. Thank you!

    thanks ! Its slowly sinking in and my trackbacks seem to be working fine.
