I doubt much more can be said beyond what has been discussed in the many other threads regarding this subject. Perhaps you can find your particular issue by reading through them (I still haven’t been able to uncover why I can’t get pinged 😉
What version of WP are you using ? You have removed that from your index which makes help slower.
Okay I’m using WordPress v1.5.2
Someone just pinged one of my posts okay from: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/TestTrack/2005/10/13/test-a-trackback/
I tried to create a trackback to that site and it hasn’t worked.
I did that – I pinged and tb’d too.
I would suggest that it’s aproblem on your host side.
I recieved two messages: One a ping, one a trackback (sorry I’m a bit slow)
However nothing I sent to that site showed up???
I’ve spoken with my host and they provided the folowing url which suggest everything is okay:
