Trackbacks please help

Hi Sim

I wonder if someone can help me I seem to be getting alot of trackbacks on my wordpress pages. I have manually tried to disabled them by choosing quick edit option and unchecking comments box. Every time I do that it seems to be ok for about 15mins then it seems to reset itself then the comments box is checked again for some reason. Naturally i then get comments. I am currently pulling my hair out over this issue (whats left of it) as this is really annoying me .

Please can someone help.
