How do I set things up so that I can track purchase events for a specific product and attribute them back to a Facebook ad? Right now, since every product has the same thank you page (from Woocommerce) in our ads we can’t differentiate what was purchased. Ideally we’d like to know that.

    Hello,

Facebook doesn’t report the products related to each conversion, and they don’t show the transaction ID either.

There are alternative ways to get this type of info, but none is perfect.

You can use UTMs (URL tags) with your ads, and use Google Analytics to track them.

We also have a feature that reports UTMs, as explained in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oRF4LKaMaw

Gotcha. Thank you. What about if we you use different landing pages for the order receipts. That would effectively show the purchase event for the item, correct? Granted if there was more than one product in the cart it would make it difficult.
