Tracking GA4 and GA3

    Can I run both sets of tags in tag mnager to track into GA4 and the standard universal analytics?

    I’m asking because I set this plugin up for GA4 and then left another Woocommerce Google analytics plugin on the site but after that point ecommmerce transactions stopped being logged into universal analytics with the other plugin.

    So ideally I need to track all transactions to both Universal Analytics and GA4.

    Hi,

    You can track GA3 and GA4 in parallel, actually this currently the best practice but if you track GA3 with a different plugin, there might be issues as you already experienced.

    What you need to decide is whether you would like to track both GA3 and GA4 using a native Google Analytics plugin or with GTM4WP. I wouldn’t mix this with 2 different plugins.
