We initially used the Site Kit plugin, and traffic was correctly tracked in GA4. However, since Site Kit only supports basic GA4 tracking without enhanced measurement capabilities, we decided to install an additional plugin to track conversions.

Naturally, we disabled GA4 tracking in Site Kit beforehand to avoid duplicate tracking. But after installing the new plugin and entering the measurement ID, no traffic was recorded in GA4.

We then deactivated and removed the plugin and re-enabled GA4 tracking via Site Kit — but even then, no traffic appeared in GA4. It was only after creating a new GA4 property that Site Kit started tracking again.

This points to a fundamental issue with the plugin. It seems the problem doesn’t only affect us but also multiple clients. If there is no update or fix released, we will be forced to uninstall the plugin across all client websites and switch to using Google Tag Manager — something we’ve tried to avoid due to the increased implementation effort.

We are using standard WordPress plugins such as Complianz and Elementor. I submitted a 1-star review yesterday and noticed that many other users are reporting similar issues. At this point, the number of 1-star reviews outweighs the positive ones.

It is urgent that someone from your team looks into this and investigates the underlying issues.

    Hello seoway,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand you’re experiencing a serious issue where GA4 tracking stopped working after switching from Site Kit to another plugin and then back again, and it’s affecting multiple client sites.

To investigate this further, I need to review your site environment. Please share your System Status Report by pasting it at https://pastebin.com and sending me the link.

If you’ve seen similar reports from other users, please share those thread links as well. That will help me understand the scope of the problem and communicate any patterns or concerns to our development team.

    Looking forward to your response.
