    Hello Zorem team,

    We are using AST to transfer tracking numbers via REST API. And we only habe one shipping provider (post.at).

    We get the tracking number in our orders, but the shipping provider is not set, so no tracking link can be created.

    I didn’t find the setting so set a default provider (is it only in PRO? I found it in the docs). And it doesn’t choose the provider automatically.

    Do we need to set the shipping provider with our REST API ? Or can it be automated somehow?

    Hi @larvafashion,

    Yes, the shipping provider must be passed in the REST API request.

    AST cannot automatically assign a carrier unless the carrier name (or slug) is included in the API payload. If only the tracking number is sent, the provider will remain empty and no tracking link can be generated.

    Please share an example of the REST API request you are currently sending (without sensitive data), so we can check how the carrier should be added correctly.
