    Hi,

We’ve successfully installed Facebook for Woocommerce and PixelYourSite and we have it working with catalog manager and its reporting.

We’re reasonably new to Facebook analytics and whilst Facebook is reporting sales there seems to be no way of looking at the orderids/orders that account for these sales like you can do in Google Analytics. Is this missing from what Facebook is currently able to report or are we missing something in terms of setup, either in the plugin or in Facebook itself? It seems odd that we can see a number and value of sales for our running Facebook Catalog Ads but apparently no way of drilling down to see the individual orders. It would be nice to prove the attribution rather than take these overall figures at face value!

    Thanks

    Dan

    Hi,

You are right, there is no way to see orders’ details in the Facebook Ads reports.

One possible solution is to use UTMs or URL Tags with your ads and Google Analytics.

Thanks, I think I saw reference to that somewhere on the web but was hoping that things may have changed. I’m guessing that at some point Facebook will catch up!
